Most lovely guest house and hosts!
We were lucky enough to stay at La Milagrosa in April 2010. Mila met us at the bus station and we walked through the town, Trinidad is an amazing place. The Casa is modern, with clean bedrooms and an artistic rooftop terrace. Bury is very creative, his paintings are everywhere on the walls. Mila and Bury are the most lovely people you could every meet. They are generous, considerate and great fun. We enjoyed listening and dancing to salsa with them. Bury is a great cook, we had the best food in the whole of our stay in Cuba, pork, fish, chicken, Cuban rice and coffee are the best, when are we going to get them in the UK ! We were very sad to leave La Milagrosa, Mila and Bury and I would go back tomorrow.

The best Casa particular in Cuba!
We travelled from Havana to Trinidad, Mila met us at the bus station she was so warm and welcoming from the moment we met. Mila & Bury treated us like family, the room was immaculate with air con. Now don't even think about eating anywhere else Bury's cooking is the best in Cuba! The casa is located in the city centre walking distance to all the sights. The best Casa in Cuba!

It is the best casa we visited in Cuba
It is the best casa we visited in Cuba and the one we felt like home as soon as we arrived.
Buri and Milla helped us organize and confirm our next days trip. We enjoyed a lot the old city center, the local population and the night animation .... our diner on their top roof... our first day in Cuba was magical. We really recommend to plan to take the viazul from Havana to trinidad and then to take the bus directly from Trinidad to Vinales to spend as much time as possible outside of Havana. Thanks again to Buri and Milla for everything.

Wonderful casa particular, highly recommended this lodging
My husband and I stayed at Hostal La Milagrosa for 5 nights. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this casa to everyone. Milagrosa and Bury are wonderful hosts. The home is very clean and in a fantastic location--just 5 minutes from downtown Trinidad.
Bury is a FANTASTIC cook and offered up some of the best food we had during our two-weeks in Cuba. A typical dinner consists of lobster encrusted in garlic and butter, crispy plantains, spicy black beans with cumin (the best I ever had), white rice, salad and coconut custard flan. Wear your pants with an elastic waistband since you won't be able to stop eating. He is also happy to accommodate vegetarians. Also, the setting for our meals was beautiful. Each night we had dinner on the rooftop terrace, which was incredibly romantic and very peaceful. We also had breakfast here every morning--equally good.

One of the best guesthouses we have rented. Excellent holidays in Cuba
Our stay in Trinidad with Mila and Bury is one of the best and warmest memories we have of our holiday in Cuba. A lovely, friendly couple who go all out to make you feel at home. Any help you need they're always there! The room is cosy and well-maintained. The food is amazing - dont eat anywhere else, Burys food is the best! It's a lovely experience to stay with them, learn some salsa from Bury, meet their friends, etc. I would recommend this casa to anyone planning a visit to Trinidad.

Lovely hosts and excellent casa particular
Buri and his wife Mila are wonderfully warm hosts. They go out of their way to make your trip special with lots of extra little touches. Buri is an excellent cook and will make you a beautifully presented meal on the terrace. The casa is cosy with lots of modern appliances making it one of the most comfortable casas that we stayed in, although we also liked the look of some of the beautiful colonial style casas which are very common in Trinidad.
Trinidad is a very small city so this was not much of a problem but it is worth being aware that the casa is slightly further away than a number of others (around 15-20mins walk to the main square).

The best lodging, enjoy your hosts!
Mila and Bury really know how to treat the clients; they enjoy their job and you enjoy your staying. They offer you their nice, clean home and serve you exellent breakfast and dinner if you wish.
In Cuba it is better to forget the hotels if you are not able to find five star one and even if you can, it is more convenient to stay in Casa Particulars.
Rooms are very clean, well painted and very cosy. The roof terrrace is nice place for dinners and breakfast can be eaten in the first floor. Sometimes the showel might offer fresh awakening :-)
Casa La Milagrosa is quite close to the old city center which is almost the only place that is worth of seeing in Trinidad. Of course you can enjoy also the beach located 10-15 kilometers from the city center.
Mila and Bury have also a good network with the other Casa owners nearby so they can find a comfortable accomodation for a bigger group when needed.
We are glad to recommend this Casa to all who are going to visit the beautiful city of Trinidad. The only minus might be stairs that has to be used in this Casa because rooms are located in the second floor. The stairs are not a problem if you have a normal mobility.

Trinidad vere a fantastic place to stay in so instead for leaving after 5 days as our plans were from the beginning we stayed 2 more days. Couldn't stay att the same casa though but Mila helped us to get room at another good casa instead. If we are going back to Trinidad again we would try to get room here again.

Wonderful Casa with Great Hosts
My husband and I spent two nights at Casa Milagrosa in February 2010. This was our first experience at a Casa and we could not have been more pleased. Mila and Bury are excellent hosts. They are very friendly and welcoming and make you feel right at home. It was my husband's birthday while we were there and Mila and Bury went out of their way to help us celebrate. Our hosts provided a birthday cake for desert, decorated their lovely terrace in a birthday theme and even approached a fellow from the street who happened to have a guitar to come inside and sing "Happy Birthday" to my husband. Way above and beyond! The room we stayed in was very clean and comfortable as was the private shower. The room has it's own refrigerator which is filled with various drinks to purchase - a nice touch after a long day. The terrace at Mila and Bury's is wonderful. It's a great place to relax after sightseeing in the city and is decorated in such a unique way, much of the artwork is Bury's. The casa is very close to all of the main sights in Trinidad, we walked everywhere. We had breakfast and dinner and both were excellent. Bury will ask you in the morning what you would like for dinner and it is ready for you later at the time you request it. The rice and beans were a big favourite of ours. Breakfast is lots of fresh fruit and eggs made to order and the best fresh bread, I would highly recommend this casa to anyone. We will certainly return if we find ourselves in Trinidad again.

Great place to stay, the best for rent!
We travelled with a group of 8 guys and we booked this place through Cuba Junky. Great choice! Since we were with too many people for one casa particular, half of the group stayed at Hostal Dr Lara y Sra Yuda , which is just around the corner and also a great place to stay.
We really enjoyed our stay here, as the hosts were very friendly and tried their best to make us feel at home. The food was also very nice and affordable and is served on a great rooftop terrace with nice views. I would definitely recommend this place!
A small warning though! We were led to another place by a tout that brought us to the 'son' of this place, who claimed the bathroom at 'his' hostal was 'broken'. Nonsense of course. We later heard from our hosts that there were actually people who handed out businesscards with their name on it claiming to be from the hostal. That's pretty bad... So be sure to check the address if you are led to a place!
Needless to say this had nothing to do with our hosts, which were excellent!

Brilliant-very friendly, comfortable, helpful and great food in this guesthouse
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Mila and Bury. This was our first time staying with a family in Cuba and we loved the experience. Bury is an excellent cook and also taught me some salsa steps! Our room was very comfortable and we were not far from the centre of town. Thoroughly recommend. Incredible value

carlesberg dont do cases but if they did
A very clean and friendly casa.
Milagros and Bury could not be any better and we were made to feel at home the moment we arrived.
Bury's cooking is the best in Cuba we have been to Cuba six times and have travelled all over Cuba mostly staying in hotels.
We would have no hesitation in recommending their casa as its everything one could want and you are getting to know the real Cuba and Trinidad not the exclusive package holiday. We will defiantly return to stay with them in future.
Casa style: Fantastic hosts, Comfertable, Cozy, Hidden gem, Roomy, Safe
Amenities: Internet, Private entrance, Airconditioning, Private bathroom, Minibar, Laundry service, Balcony,
How was your room?: Very Clean and comfortable with two double beds.
Fresh crisp bed linen and towels every two days.
Large Fridge well stocked from which we could help ourselves to. Balcony overlooking the street to observe the street life.
Private bathroom well stocked with toiletry's.
Lots of hot water.
How was the food the offer?: Anything you could want and no problem with fussy eaters.
we had dinner every night with wine except for one in the ten days we spent there. We also had breakfasts every morning. With the occasional cocktail on the terrace in the evening.
Bury is a fantastic Cook.
Other services they offer: Someone to mind our hired car at night.
They could organise trips or dancing lessons if we need them.
Nothing was a bother for them they are really very friendly and accommodatin.
Other comments: After our stay in La Milagrosa we would not ever stay at the hotels in Trinidad or the Playa

Super romantico!!! So much fun! salsa and sunsets on the roof terrace
Mila and Bury are the most entertaining, warm hosts you could imagine. We had such a wonderful three days in trinidad thanks to them. The highlight was being a part of their new years eve celebration on the roof top, food, rum, salsa and more food! We had a ball, definitely the highlight of our trip. Fantastic location, clean rooms and great food. You will not be dissapointed.
I read a review that said bookings were not honoured, these situations are unfortunate and we have had this happen in other places in Cuba, but remember cuba does not have sophisticated methods of communication, its the phone and thats about it, at best people will have incredibly slow, unreliable email access. Remember that Cuba is an experience and we all learn to be patient by being there, I have not met one casa owner in all of Cuba who did not bend over backwards for their guests, and this place is no exception, sure mistakes happen, but that's life.
You will not be dissapointed staying here, this would have been equal first place casa that we stayed in during our trip.
Thanks Mila and Bury, we will be back at your casa if ever in Cuba agin!

La Milagrosa - an authentic and loving home in Trinidad
My friends and I took a taxi from Habana to Trinidad (the tickets for the buses were all sold out). We were recommended to Milagros by our host in Habana and had the address written on a piece of paper. The taxi driver "pretended" not to remember addresses in Trinidad, therefore, as we enter the town, a "very helpful" neighbor offered to guide him to the house. Only a few minutes later we realized that this bicicletero (guys in bicycles that try to take you to illegal casas particulares) was trying to cheat us. He said that he lost the paper with La Milagrosa's address, but luckily my husband forced the guy to return the paper. It was a very shady situation, but fortunately we found Milagros. Since we were four, she was not able to accommodate us, but she took us to a home nearby.
Do stay at La Milagrosa. It will be an authentic Cuban experience with amazing hosts.

Great Food! Great Hospitality!
We've had the pleasure of dining twice on the roof-top terrace. Surrounded by the sights and sounds of the beautiful city of Trinidad. The hosts, Bury and Miracles are both very welcoming and they quickly make you feel right at home.
Our first meal at Hostal La Milagrosa was in Feb. 2008. We were lucky enough to experience Bury's barbequed lobster served along with beans and rice, and a fabulous fresh shrimp salad. Everything was lovingly prepared and beautifully presented.
We dined there again this past February and this time we were served fresh shrimps sauted with garlic and herbs along with saffron rice, fried plantain and tomato slices.
Everything was as wonderful as we remembered it to be two years prior. Bury and Miracles are both very hard working people. Bury prepare wonderful meals and Milagros handles bookings and both are very gracious hosts. We would highly recommend Hostal La Migrosa to anyone visiting Trinidad.

A Real Treat and Genuine Experience of Cuban Hospitality
We booked our two night stay based on Trip Advisor reviews and emails back and forth with the owners, Milagros and Bury. We were careful to confirm our bookings several times and also to check in with them after we arrived to Havana. They were waiting for and expecting us with open arms. The rooms, while basic, are clean and comfortable and include a fridge stacked with refreshments available for personal use at a cost not unlike a mini bar in a hotel, only much better. The room is also air conditioned.
The ambiance in the house is airy and pleasant and the top roof deck with a view of the town is spectacular. We enjoyed spending the afternoons in that open air space. We had read that Bury is a great cook and thus we decided for an extra cost to have our breakfast and dinner meals at home. Bury is a wonderful cook and we enjoyed two really good dinners; and breakfast was tasty and large enough to keep us going until dinner.
Most of all Milagros and Bury are warm and energetic individuals who strive to make your stay as comfortable as possible. You only have to ask for something and they will provide to the best of their abilities. We enjoyed getting to know them and would stay with them again should we return to Trinidad, Cuba.

Wonderful food, great hosts, excellent lodging!
I have stayed at this Casa many times but on this occasion I was staying at a hotel at the beach. I couldn't visit Trinidad without enjoying the wonderful food cooked by Bury. I took along two friends who had previously eaten at the Casa two years ago and we were not disappointed. The variety and quality of traditional Cuban food served is exceptional. No fear of an upset stomach at this Casa, it is extremly clean. The hosts, Bury and Milagros (Mila), are professional and yet one feels totally at home. You can choose to have a private supper or if you wish, enjoy their lively talk, your decision.
I had the opportunity to talk to the other two couples staying at the Casa and they were both overjoyed with the service provided. Another couple who were just eating at the Casa explained that when they had contacted Mila to book they were advised that the Casa was full. However, they were assisted in finding suitable accommodation close by and assured that they could eat Bury's wonderful food whenever they wanted to. They were very happy with the service and help they had been given.
Having read the one negative review on this Casa......................I am confused, this couple endeavours to provide the highest quality of service even when they are not able to accommodate in their own Casa. I think that there was some miscommunication due to lack of understanding of both the Spanish and English language. Because of the justified high ratings of this Casa it is very popular but you can be assured that everything possible is done to accommodate all those who make inquiries.
Keep up the good work and very best wishes to Bury and Milagros.

We had a very nice stay for two nights with Mila and Bury. Very friendly people. Good breakfast and delicious dinner on the terrace! Room and bathroom clean and comfortable.Only a few blocks from Plaza Mayor and and about 3 km from Playa Ancon, which is much bettter than Varadero, we think!

An awesome Casa and wonderful hosts
This is a great place to stay in Trinidad. Comfortable rooms, beautiful terrace to watch the sunset (and rise), great, and I mean great, food, and Milagros and Buri are so fun, so vivacious and so helpful. This is a wonderful place to stay in Trinidad.

We stayed at Hostal La Milagrosa for 4 days, and we really enjoyed it.
The hostes Mila and Bury are very friendly and helpfull and you really feel at home there. Bury makes exellent food, some of the best we got in Cuba.
The house is very charming and the rooms are clean and well equiped and the big terraceon the roof of the house is a very pleasent place to have your meals and read your book.

Rare quality of hospitality
The Hostal la Milagrosa is located in a very well kept house near the town-centre of Trinidad (Cuba). All main sightseeing spots including dancing facilities (we like to dance the traditional style of Cuban Music) can be visited within a five to fifteen minute walk. Together with the warm-hearted, friendly, helpful and communicative owner-couple Mila and Bury, this site is the ideal place to stay and enjoy the town.
We stayed there for three days, beginning with New Year’s Eve 2009 (until January 3rd, 2010) Spontaneously we were invited to celebrate the night on the roof-terrace (spectacular view!) together with other foreign guests from the neighbourhood, friends and relatives of the family. The intercultural discussions, music, salsa-lessons and homemade food and drink were the best opportunity to encounter Cuban life: its open-mindedness and familiarity, the joyful communication and cordiality, as well as extraversion and rhythmical movement. And at the centre of the party, Mila and Bury successfully brought people together with their warmth and charm while discreetly organizing and preparing everything in the background required for an enchanted evening.
Room and beds were perfect, breakfast and – if you like – dinner was served in a nicely decorated living room, very well prepared by Bury, who likes to demonstrate the art of Cuban cooking at its best. Mila is an expert in organizing and helping to find solutions to problems even in really difficult situations, where we as foreigners could only have failed.
But above all, from the first to the last minute of our stay we were treated by both of them with overwhelming and authentic cordiality not only as welcomed guests but also as true friends.
For this rare quality of hospitality, a thousand thanks,
Beatrix Terjung and Thomas Kempf

calore cubano,,fantastiche persone

The best in Trinidad
Mila & Bury's casa is really the best you can get in Trinidad - great room, excellent food, lovely hosts...cant ask for more! We stayed there for 5 days and had a wonderful time. Their enthusiasm and warmth ensures you feel at home and really enjoy yourselves. They always go out of their way to help you with anything that you need. Also the room is very neat and clean as is the bathroom. The food by Bury was the best we tasted in Cuba, so i'd say dont go anywhere else to eat because it doesnt get better than this. Lovely memories of Trinidad thanks to MIla & Bury.

Even when it's full...Mila's service is great!”
We decided to visit Trinidad in our quickly-booked trip to Cuba. After reading all those positive recommendations on TripAdvisor, we contacted Mila in the hope we could stay there.
Unfortunately, Mila wrote immediately back that here casa was already booked but she would found us another casa, and she did. When we arrived in Trinidad, she took us on a tour in her casa, offered something to drink and was extremely friendly. She took us to one of her girlfriends casa, and I must say, it was perfect. Thanks to Mila, we stayed in a perfect casa were the food was great, rooms perfectly clean and the host - just like Mila - awesome.
So, despite the 1 or 2 negative comments about overbooking, don't take attention to it, even if the Mila casa full, she will really find you another place and if you can stay in this casa...the view, the host and the rooms are great.

Great room, great food, great hosts
When you arrive at Trinidad by bus or whatever there will be a lot of poor people trying to convince you that their casa is Hostal La Milagrosa. So, avoid these people and go straight toward the address of La Milagrosa.
La Milagrosa the best casa we experienced our whole trip. The room is very high standard and Mila and Bury are very friendly and warm, really makes you feel safe and relaxed:-)

Lovely Casa in Beautiful Trinidad
Milagrosa will help make arrangements for day trips if help is needed. We often relied on her to recommend sites to see and transport. She was extremely helpful.

“Excellent particular house!”
Whenever I go to Trinidad - and as a professional photographer I've been there a lot - I always stay at Milagros and Bury. Especially their friendliness, clean rooms and perfect location do it for me.
I have stayed in a lot of casa particulars all over the island, and Hostal La Milagrosa is in my top three. Try Bury's Italian dishes or a good haircut. Mila has always been very helpful to me, giving me the best tips about Trinidad, public transportation and other chit chat.
Go there, you will go back!
