“Amazing”

Absolutely great place to stay!
Mila and Bury were absolutely wonderfull hosts! The room and bathroom was bigger than we ever expected and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed the privacy of the room and our own balcony.
Food was amazing and there was surely plentifull of it and the roof terrace the best place to enjoy them. This was definately one of the best casas we stayed in Cuba.
Hope to return to this wonderfull place some time! Our biggest thanks to Mila and Bury for a wonderfull stay!

“Friendly hosts, wonderful food!”

We stayed 3 nights at Casa Milagros. It was not fancy, but very clean and had everything we needed. Mila and Bury were wonderful hosts and provided a very relaxed, comfortable environment. We really enjoyed visiting and laughing with them. Mila even met us at the bus station when we arrived in Trinidad. They gave us information on what to see and do. We would highly recommend Bury's cooking. It was delicious! The house's location made it easy to walk everywhere, Which we did. Trinidad was great, and we left feeling like we'd made new friends.

“Great casa in Trinidad”

This is great casa! Just 5 min. walking from center of Trinidad. Hosts are excellent and very friendly. You will feel very safe here. They have very nice rooftop terrace for dinner and sunbath. Room are very comfortable with a private balcony.
You can have great breakfast and dinner here.
Hope I'll come again in this beautiful city, and I'll definitely stay again in this casa.

“Einfach genial”

Mucho besos

“Counting the days until I return”

I have been traveling to Cuba for years. I used to spend a week in Havana, then maybe a week or two in Trinidad. Then I met Milagros and Bury... Now I get to Havana and start looking for the next car or bus to Trinidad so I can get back to them as soon as possible. Great loving hosts, generous with their time, their house, and their beautiful family. Every night on the terrace for the sunset and a thousand laughs, Bury in the kitchen or at the barbeque creating the best food in Cuba. I have met wonderful people from all over the world, and I can honestly say that Milagros and Bury are my favorites. Stay with them and find out for yourselves.

“A home from home in Cuba....”

We would echo the many positive comments made by other guests of Mila and Bury. They have a lovely home and are very welcoming and hospitable. We were really well looked after in a comfortable location, which felt like home and made our stay in Trinidand very memorable.
Mila and Bury were very welcoming and easy to be around. They were even going to welcome us off the bus but we found their house first! The bedroom itself is really nice with well-stocked fridge of Cuban and international drinks (for which there is obviously a small charge) and a balcony.
Meals were provided (again, these cost a little extra) and we got the chance to dine on the romantic roof-top terrace from where you can watch a remarkable sunset. Bury's meals were among some of the finest we have ever tasted - not only in Cuba but anywhere. We got massive portions (and extra helpings, if we wanted) of the finest Cuba cuisine including all sorts of things we'd never tasted before and we cannot stress enough how tasty every meal was. Bravo, Bury!
We wholeheartedly recommend this lovely house.

Trinidad: "Muy bien!"

We stayed for 3 nights at Hostal La Milagrosa. We booked through Cuba Junky (a great website for Cuba travel) and rang to confirm our reservation the day before.

We were met at the bus stop by Mila and she gave us a quick tour of Trinidad on the way back to the casa. Mila and Bury were fantastic hosts - they did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable and give us tips and what to see and do. We had our own key and could come and go as we pleased. The room was great; clean, comfortable and had a nice balcony for drinking cold Cristals from the fridge.

The food here was easily the best we had in Cuba. Lovely breakfasts (mango juice, omelette, treacle-like Cubita coffee) and we'd definitely recommend an evening meal taken on the roof terrace, the fish, fried banana, avocado, rice and beans were all delicious.

All in all we can't recommend Hostal La Milagrosa highly enough. Mila and Bury are perfect hosts.

“unreliable”

We've read all the excellent reviews about Milagrosa and we've decided not to book a hotel in Trinidad. Unfortunately despite our confirmation Milagrosa was not available when we arrived there. We were looking for a place to stay at 8.00pm. Perhaps Mrs Milagrosa chose another traveller that booked more nights. The "funny" thing is that she didn't say anything about it

Montse y Jordi

“They are not hosts, they are friends!”

The best hosts we found in Cuba! Milagros and Bury are wonderful hosts! We spend only four days but in this short time we've understood what we were very lucky! In Trinidad, that is a much visited tourist destination, many people come as stupids chickens escorted by disinterested guides and spend the days in anonymous resorts; instead we've tasted the most delicious cooking, Bury is a great chef; we've danced salsa together; we've talk until late night; we've met their friends; we've walked over the town together...at the end we've found two nice and kindly friends.

“Look no further”

My boyfriend and I were a little sceptical staying in a casas, but we are so glad we did and more glad we stayed at this one.

Mila and Bury met us off the Viazul as promised and took us back to there lovely home. The room was big with a fantastic little balcony. The room was spotless clean and comfortable.

Our hosts were the best we could ever imagine. So friendly and kind. Every morning they greeted us with there happy smiling faces, and a large tasty breakfast cooked by super Cuban cook Bury.

We felt so at ease during our stay it was absolutely our favourite place we stayed in Cuba, far beating the 5 star resort we stayed at afterwards.

If you are losing faith in Cuban food let Bury feed you and change your mind. We ate there the first night and after that we didn't even bother looking for anything else. Every night he cooked up a storm of delicious tasty (massive) plates of food.

We can't thank our hosts enough for the hospitality they showed us. We will always remember our stay here and hope to return soon.

Come with an open heart and an empty stomach - both will be filled

“Fantastic casa with great hosts!”

We stayed with Milagros and Bury after a friend had recommended them and I can't recommend them highly enough! We happened to arrive on the night of their son's graduation party and were made so welcome at the party where we met many of their friends too! Their house is lovely and clean and the room is very comfortable with a nice balcony. The great thing about their hose is the rooftop where Bury serves the most amazing meals, he is a fantastic cook. Milagros and Bury are helpful in arranging anything you need in Cuba and put us in touch with other places to stay when we moved on. Staying in their casa was certainly a highlight in our Cuba trip.

“Milagros and Bury are two of the nicest people/best hosts met in many years of travelling.”

Milagros and Bury are two of the nicest people/best hosts that I've met in many years of travelling. Apart from the stunning, totally original decor - which puts you in a good mood as soon as you get out of bed - the hostel is perfectly situated beingan easy walk up to the bars and music venues, and just a few hundred metres from the bus-stop for the beautiful beach. If you arrive by bike, as I did, the last point is even more important as La Milagrosa is outside the cobbled area of the city, making it just an easy, flat 12km ride to the beach. Believe me you don't want to try riding over those cobbles without a full-suspension mountain bike, and even then it wouldn't be much fun.
Oh and then there's the delicious food served on the rooftop terrace.....

“absolutely THE best hospitality in Cuba!”

we stayed at hostal la milagrosa on the recommendation of a friend and it really made our whole holiday in Cuba! The family are so accommodating and they really welcomed us into their home and their lives. we could not have stayed anywhere else that would've given us a better experience of the real Cuba.
The room we stayed in was very private and comfortable and the meals provided were more than we could've asked for.

“Relaxed, quirky and fun”

My partner and I stayed here for 5 nights back in April and had a blast. Bury and Mila are wonderful hosts, a really lovely couple. Bury's cooking is amazing (beware the portion sizes!).
I had my birthday while there and they secretly arranged for two singer/guitarists to perform for me. It embarrassed the hell out of me but was a lovely touch.
The location of the guest house is perfect as it is just slightly out of the main centre which means that it is a little quieter but still well within walking distance of everywhere interesting.
I can't recommend this guesthouse highly enough. It was one of the highlights of our travels in Cuba.

“lovely place lovely couple”

Milagrosa and Bury know exactly what to do to make you feel at home. They are great hosts. Sweet, attentive, clever, energetic, funny and at the same time modest. Professionals indeed. The stairs up to the room are a little small but Bury gives you a helping hand if your bag is heavy. The beds are perfect. The streetfacing balcony is wonderful. Much to our regret the weather - too much wind - didn't allow us to enjoy Bury's deliciousl meals on the great rooftopterrace. Next time! When back in Trinidad we will definitely love to stay with them again.

“Exceptional casa, exceptional couple. Possibly the friendliest in Cuba!”

We had a wonderul time at la Milagrosa. Mila and Bury are incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They treat you like friends and they have so many friends and neighbours coming in and out of their house that you really feel like part of the town while staying there.

The house is beautiful, they've done it out really well, with murals on the wall and a lovely roof terrace, and the room itself is light, bright and airy with its own little terrace and bathroom.

And then there's the food, which was better than many restaurants I've eaten in and certainly much better than the one restaurant we went to in Havana. Bury is an exceptional cook. One night he cooked us red snapper on a platter of vegetables and it was amazing.

Mila is also incredibly friendly and helpful. She organises the bookings via email and will help you with any transport you need to or from Trinidad and will meet you at the bus station when you arrive.

I can't recommend this place enough. We had a wonderful time there.

“It's all true!”

Just returned from Cuba - our stay with Milagrosa and Bury was the hightlight. They really are a lovely couple - they did everything possible to make us feel welcome - apart from everything that's already been said about the room, terrace etc, they helped us arrange our trips, booked taxis, walked us to the station for the steam train to the Valle de los Ingenios ( a must do trip!) and when we left, Milagosa took us to the bus and spoke to the driver to ensure we got off at the right place! The casa is about 5 minutes from the centre and the Viazul stop. It's very near the Park Cespedes so very convenient for Transtur buses to Havana and Vinales (and possibly Santiago) which leave from
there. I loved Trinidad - wish I was still there!

“Can i stay forever?”

If i could rearrange my trip so i stayed more time with Milagros and Bury i would. As it was we changed things around so we could stay an extra two days we loved it so much. As stated in previous posts this was the highlight of our trip as well. I love these two people, they made our trip so much more special - and oh my dear lord, Bury can cook! His food was hands down the best food we had our entire trip in Cuba and the pork was the best i have had EVER. They make you feel like you are truly a part of their family (and you dont even have to clean dishes) It was my girlfriends 30th birthday over our stay there and during diner on the beautiful rooftop patio they surprised us by inviting two guitarists who serenaded her. This is just one of the many examples of how they go out of their way to make your time special. However for all they do they are just as willing to give you privacy and time to explore the quaint town of Trinidad. Their location is very close to the center of town but is quiet enough to sleep well. the rooms are clean and comfortable and we could not have asked for any more. Its a great spot to sip rum and look from the terrace onto the street. In my opinion its the best place to stay in the best town in Cuba Oh and they have the coolest Weiner dog.

“Casa Milagrosa is the Best!”

The Casa Milagrosa is a wonderful place to stay in Trinidad. Your hosts Milagros and Bury will treat you like family. The place is perfectly situated near the central park in Trinidad and everything is walking distance from there. The hosts keep the place spotlessly clean and the guest room is great with it's own little balcony. There is a rooftop patio with a wonderful view of the surrounds that is perfect for enjoying the sunset. Bury is a great cook and the food is always fantastic. You will be well taken care of here. I highly recommend staying at the Hostal La Milagrosa when your travels take you Trinidad.
